About Synagen IQ

Synagen IQ is a natural cognitive enhancer that’s claimed to support short and long term memory, increase energy levels, enhance cognitive performance, “synergize your brain,” help you achieve clarity and focus, boost your focus and motivation, and even improve your overall health and wellbeing.
In order to accomplish this, Synagen IQ contains a 100% natural blend of scientifically formulated ingredients that are engineered to give your brain all the vitamins it needs—in the exact dosages it needs—to support “all areas of cognitive growth.”
To begin experiencing these benefits, the manufacturer claims that you’ll need to take one pill of Synagen IQ every morning. On top of this, the supplement is claimed to work for men and women of all ages, without the side effects associated with prescription medications.
When it comes to Synagen IQ, you’ve got a lot of questions, least of which is: Will this supplement really work as advertised? We’ll get to the answer shortly, but let’s first take a look at what cognition is, and what causes it to decline as you age.

What is Cognition? What Cause It to Decline?

Cognition is defined as “the set of all mental abilities and processes related to knowledge: attention, memory and working memory, judgment and evaluation, reasoning and "computation", problem solving and decision making, comprehension and production of language, etc.” In other words, cognition is a complex process, but basically just references how we perceive and interact with the world around us.
Although most of our cognitive abilities remain in tact, around the age of 50, many of us will begin experiencing mild memory loss (such as forgetting where we placed our keys, having difficulty remembering someone’s name, etc.), which is something known as mild cognitive impairment (MCI). Like any other medical diagnosis, MCI can be caused by a variety of factors, including thyroid or kidney disease, strokes and tumors, Parkinson’s disease, the beginning signs of dementia, and more.
The good news is that, unless it turns into more severe forms of dementia (such as Alzheimer’s), MCI doesn’t impact a person’s life enough to affect daily functioning.
But is there anything contained in Synagen IQ that can help address mild cognitive impairment, or help prevent a more serious dementia diagnosis?

Why Aren’t We Told What’s Contained in Synagen IQ?

There’s no way to know what’s contained in Synagen IQ, since the manufacturer didn’t find it important to provide a product label or a list of ingredients. In fact, other than claiming that their supplement contains “all of the ingredients and vitamins [your brain] needs in the exact dosage it needs it to support all areas of cognitive growth,” we’re not told about a single ingredient found in Synagen IQ.
In our opinion, this alone should be a big red flag and a massive strike against Synagen IQ’s manufacturer.
We’ll talk more about the company behind Synagen IQ in a moment, but first, is there anything you can do to prevent MCI or more severe cases of cognitive decline?

What Can You Do To Prevent Cognitive Decline?

If you’re looking to treat or prevent your mild cognitive impairment, there are a variety of lifestyle factors you can change, including undergoing moderate physical activity, eating a low fat/high fruits and veggies diet, increasing your intake of omega-3 fatty acids, engaging in regular intellectual stimulation (e.g. playing games, reading books, etc.), remaining engaged socially, and more.
Now, let’s learn more about who makes Synagen IQ.

Who Makes Synagen IQ?

As a company, Synagen IQ based out of Las Vegas, NV, although there wasn’t any additional information available about them online at the time of our research. On top of this, the only Synagen IQ customer “reviews” we found were from affiliates, who earn commissions for each sale of the supplement they refer.
There was a fairly in-depth Synagen IQ review on a third party website, who, although they hadn’t yet tried the supplement, wrote, “Do I think Synagen IQ works like some magic, miracle cognitive enhancer? Most likely not. The fact that they don’t disclose their ingredients is a HUGE red flag in my opinion, and only reinforces the notion that it’s probably just some fly by night company looking to make a quick buck.” As we mentioned above, we’d have to agree.
With this said, Synagen IQ is part of an ever-increasing trend of online-only nootropic supplements that make big claims but fail to back them up in any way, including Brain Storm Elite, Neuroflexyn, Evo Brain Pill, and more. In fact, the problem has become so widespread that we took a detailed look at these products in The Truth about Memory Supplements.
In short, among more than 100 HighYa reader reviews, these products have an average rating of 2 stars, with common complaints citing failure to work, high price, and poor customer service. And in our opinion, you can expect to experience much of the same with Synagen IQ.
Speaking of which, how much does Synagen IQ cost?

Should Synagen IQ Be Your Next Memory Supplement?

If some stranger walked up to you, handed you a pill, and asked you to take it, would you? Probably not. Why? Because you don’t know who made it or what’s in it.
Well, although the supplement is sold online (instead of in person), the manufacturers of Synagen IQ expect you to essentially do the same thing, although we’re told almost nothing about what it contains or who it’s made by.
Considering this, if you’re experiencing frequent memory problems, the first person you should speak with is your physician, who should be able to recommend more effective treatment options that taking an unknown supplement like Synagen IQ.

    Total scammers and liars

"Fee trial" my butt. They say it's $12 for a free trial then hit your card for $89.40. Plus the $12 shipping makes it $101.40 for nothing but LIES. They are total scammers and should be put out of business by the Feds. It is interstate fraud!
Of course, they're too busy chasing evil people somewhere else, when we got our own country's destroyers of public safety right here. Don't be conned by these common thieves. Bad mouth them whenever you can, and file complaints.

    Unhappy costumer

I returned Synagen IQ at my expense or they would have charged my card $80+ and put me on a monthly account. If they didn’t try to sign me up to a monthly subscription without me knowing it, I may have given it a closer look. But no way when they try to cheat people, tells me a lot about the company. The product is not as they advertise it, or they wouldn’t try to take advantage of people like they do.

    Scam

This is a complete scam, fictitious advertising. The lead-on was that they would sell you the product for $4.95, however they are going to charge you the 4.95 plus 84.71 in 15 days. I canceled my order of which they accepted, but they charged me $38.71 plus the 4.95 as a cancelation charge.
After checking out the product, it is a huge scam, it does not do anything for your memory. Do not buy.

    It's a scam.

    • Asheville, NC,

The "free" trial isn't free! I just called to cancel while still in my trial period to try the product, and was told if I didn't return the unused portion that my credit card would be charged. First time I've heard this. I was originally told all I had to do was call to cancel during the free trial period, and I would not be charged. Nobody mentioned anything about returning the product. The customer service rep talked over me and was completely uncompromising and unhelpful. I would NEVER order anything again from this company.
As far as the product's effects, it basically made me feel a little spaced out, that's all. It's a scam, the company is a scam, and it's all about getting money out of unsuspecting customers.

    Synagen IQ A Scam

    • Los Angeles, California,
    • Sep 5, 2015
I am 46 years old and was taking this supplement for 8 months -- so far no result. This product seems to be like other scam items; anti aging, weight loss, face lift, look younger, alternative cancer medicine -- you name it. Do not be fooled and brain washed.
